Due to lack of funding the Information & Support Service is unable to provide a  service.

WHAT WE COULD DO WITH FUNDING:

• Give information and support
• Inform clients about training, learning and volunteering opportunities
• Help with filling in forms (WRS, Hate Crime forms, benefit forms etc.)
• Make phone calls on behalf of the client
• Sight translations of documentation
• Answer enquires via the office mobile number and  the office land line
• Inform a particular agency of clients language needs
• Liaise with referral agencies on clients behalf

WHAT WE CAN’T DO: 

• Guide or advise a client
• Sign documents for clients
• Pretend to be a client (e.g. on the phone)
• Translate official/legal documentation
• Accompany clients to other agencies as an interpreter
• Give away or share clients’ personal information without their consent
• Go to clients’ houses, go out with them for personal purposes (e.g. for a coffee)
• Take any gifts or money from clients
• Give legal or immigration advice to clients
