Polish Association
Welcome
We would like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves and provide you with useful information about our Ave Polonia.
The Polish community is a diverse group of individuals who bring a wealth of skills and knowledge to Britain. We believe that we have a great deal in common and welcome the opportunity to share our skills and knowledge.
‘Ave Polonia’ Polish Community Association was formed in the winter of 2008.
Our main purpose is to provide people of Polish origin living in Corby a real opportunity to become fully involved in community life.
We also aim to:
· Enable better integration into society
· Identify needs and signposting to relevant services
· Assist with completing forms
· Advocate for and represent the Polish community
· Provide translations and interpreters
We wish to assist in building a stronger and safer community and build on the strengths within the communities. Through social events we will promote Polish culture and also raise awareness to the Polish community of British customs and practices.
‘Ave Polonia’ is an organisation that will play an active part in the Borough of Corby, bringing together all communities. We welcome your cooperation.
If you are a service provider, please tell us about your service and any events that you may have planned and we will pass on the information to the Polish Community.
If you require any assistance with engaging with the Polish community, then please come along to one of our drop in sessions below. Otherwise, telephone 07545455063 or e-mail: avepoloniacorby@vp.pl.
